Marc-André ter Stegen makes the cut for Germany’s World Cup squad

Germany head coach Hansi Flick names the Barcelona goalkeeper in his squad for Qatar. The German international is having a stellar season with the Blaugranas, conceding only 5 goals in 14 league games this season.

ter Stegen’s one of the 26 players in the Germany squad for the World Cup in Qatar. The German shot stopper guided the team to the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup triumph, and the looming World Cup will be the fourth consecutive major tournament for the 30-year-old.

The four-time World Champions will come up against Japan, Spain and Costa Rica in Group F as the ‘DFB-Elf’ eye redemption for their disastrous group stage exit in 2018 World Cup.
