Robert Lewandowski received his golden boot OFFICIALLY, in a ceremony earlier today for being the striker with the most league goals in Europe Top 5 Leagues last season.
The elite striker also made sure to thank his Bayern Munich teammates as he could only achieve this feat with them by his side.
The Polish striker also touched on some important topics during the ceremony one of them being the World Cup that comes up in a few days time.
"The World Cup is a big thing for every player, I’m happy to be there and play and I hope you enjoy this edition" he said, while also naming Brazil and Argentina as favorites with an unnamed European nation to win the World Cup.
Also talking on his move to Barçelona months ago, he said "the gesture was for Xavi as we just talked about a move like that, that could happen and it actually happened" whilst also commenting on his early red card in the match yesterday against Osasuna "if you watch the video it could be a yellow, but we won with 10 men which is important for us" he concluded via PartidazoCOPE.
Currently, the striker would be looking to repeat the feat and win his 3rd golden shoe this time with Barçelona. He has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, already putting up an impressive 18 goals in 19 matches.
He together with the Barçelona team would also be looking to compete and win all remaining trophies due to the clubs early exit from the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.
