Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Morocco midfielder Azzedine Ounahi — after his stellar performances at the World Cup.
The 22-year-old was playing in France’s third-tier league 18 months ago, now Ounahi has caught the eyes of millions for his splendid performances against top European nations such as Belgium and Spain.

Most notably, then Spain head coach Luis Enrique was “surprised” by the Moroccan starlet’s performance after they knocked his team out of the competition.
“Madre mía,” said the treble-winning coach in press conference after the match. “Where did this kid come from? He surprised me. He didn’t stop running”
In recent times, Barcelona are struggling to comply with La Liga’s Financial Fair Play regulations — that’s why Azzedine Ounahi would be a feasible option for the Catalans to reinforce their midfield.
