Against a resiliently composed Sevilla, the Catalan giants put up a late yet dazzling display to put three past the visitors and solidified their 8 point lead atop La Liga.
Jordi Alba, Pablo Gavira and Raphinha netted once each - while Alba and Raphinha both registered one assist to their names.
Unfortunately, Sergio Busquets was forced off with an injury in the 8th minute of the game and is set to be out for about at least 2 weeks.
Franck Kessie who came on for Busquets furnished a beautifully timed assist to Jordi Alba's opening goal that put the Catalans 1-0 up in the 58th minute.
Pablo Gavira was yet again deployed at the left flank and the youngster did proper justice to Raphinha's sumptuous assist and easily tapped in the second goal for the Catalans.
The last goal came in the final minutes of the game when Raphinha put the third strike past Sevilla's post to settle the score at 3-0, courtesy of an Alba cross.
This win, alongside Real Madrid's defeat at the hands of Mallorca, further solidifies Barcelona's stance atop La Liga as the Los Blancos remain 8 Points buried behind.
Might as well be too ealry to say so, but the title race seems to have somewhat already started titling in favour of the Catalans.
Can Madrid spice things up before the League Clásico, or will the fate of the title be decided way before that? Remains to be seen but rest be assured - an interesting other half of the season awiats beyond.
Until next time, Visca Barca.
